Consortium on Reading Excellence provides expert technical assistance and professional development for K–12 literacy programs. Our focus is reading instruction based on scientifically based reading research. CORE has a history of successful achievement in large urban districts and in rural and remote schools and districts, and as a partner with state departments of education. CORE's three-tier model effectively supports Response to Intervention (RtI).
We collaborate with superintendents, district and site administrators, literacy coaches, regular and special education teachers, English-language learner staff, and content teachers at all levels to build systemwide capacity for sustained growth in literacy achievement.
